W. Thomas Cable

Partner

Mr. Cable serves as the attorney for the Paulding County School District, the Paulding County Industrial Building Authority, and the Paulding County Airport Authority.

In addition, Mr. Cable handles other types of civil litigation, including divorce and custody disputes, real estate litigation, and commercial matters. He has been the firm’s Managing Partner since 2005.

In addition to his current affiliations, Mr. Cable formerly served as President of the Paulding Bar Association, President of the Civitan Club, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Paulding Chamber of Commerce, and member of the Board of Directors of Georgia Heritage Bank. He was also appointed by the Supreme Court of Georgia to the Paulding Judicial Circuit Public Defender Selection Panel.

Craig L. Burnsed

Partner

Mr. Burnsed practices extensively in real estate, contracts and business law. He represents private and institutional lenders, handles loan closings, and represents numerous investors and entrepreneurs in connection with acquisition, development and sale of both real estate and businesses. He advises small business owners in connection with the creation of business entities such as S-corporations, limited liability companies and partnerships.

He is former lead counsel for the Paulding County Board of Tax Assessors, having represented the board in property tax litigation and advising the Board on all matters pertaining to their operation. His litigation experience also includes property disputes, landlord/tenant matters, family law, estate litigation and business disputes.

Mr. Burnsed practiced law in his native Savannah before joining the firm in 1998. He and his family now make their home in Paulding County, where he has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Paulding County Chamber of Commerce, and President of the Paulding County Bar Association. He is currently serving a second term on the Paulding County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.

J. Jayson Phillips

Partner

Mr. Phillips’ practice focuses on all aspects of county and municipal government law as well as real estate and probate administration. He currently serves as the City Attorney for the City of Hiram as well as lead attorney for the firm as Paulding County Attorney.

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Phillips served for seven years as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Georgia. In that capacity, Mr. Phillips advised state law enforcement and criminal justice agencies and represented them in all aspects of state and federal civil litigation. Prior to joining the Attorney General’s Office, he served as an Assistant Solicitor-General in the State Court of Augusta-Richmond County.

Ella A. Hendrix

Associate

Ella Hendrix was raised in Louisville, KY. She attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville earning a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science. She continued her education in Tennessee attending Lincoln Memorial University Duncan School of Law. She spent her law school career interning for an experienced family law firm, completing civil mediation training and mediating several landlord-tenant disputes. Ella graduated earning a Juris Doctorate in 2023.

Ella started her legal career specializing in family law, where she gained extensive experience in handling complex cases involving divorce and child custody. Her compassionate approach and meticulous attention to detail helped her build a strong reputation.

Currently, Ella serves as an associate attorney at TRC where she continues to apply her legal knowledge to serve the community handling a variety of legal matters. Her transition to TRC reflects her commitment to public service and her desire to make a positive impact in her community.

J. Glenn Richardson

Of Counsel

Mr. Richardson joined the firm in March 1985 and was a Partner from 1987 to 2010. Since 2010, he has maintained an Of Counsel relationship with the firm.

Mr. Richardson represents individuals, partnerships and companies in a wide range of matters and represents both plaintiffs and defendants. Mr. Richardson has extensive experience in the trial of criminal cases as well as civil cases before a jury in state and federal courts.

Mr. Richardson primarily represents people who have been the victim of negligence. He has tried a wide range of negligence cases with his practice focusing in the areas of medical malpractice and catastrophic injuries. He also handles limited criminal matters in state and federal courts.

Mr. Richardson was a member of the Georgia General Assembly for 12 years and served as Georgia’s first Republican Speaker of the House in over 100 years from 2005 to 2009.
